Panteliemon Pantelis is a mechanical engineer who has worked in shipping as an engineer. He has been involved in shipping software and Ulysses Systems for 21 years. Ulysses Systems focuses on building software that works and that includes cyber security.

Matthew Maheras is the IT Manager of Metrostar Management Corp. He has a wide experience in managing innovative IT projects, typically involving Virtualization, Cloud and Mobile technologies, with focus on Cyber Security and Data Privacy. He holds a PhD in Operational Research from NTUA, and an MBA from Imperial College, London.

George Venianakis is the head of global MSS network and services operations at Speedcast. George sees his goal as a leader to generate value and solve business problems by mentoring, leading, designing and directing teams in SATCOM and Enterprise Technologies.

He is a highly skilled and certified professional, with more than 20 years’ experience in the ICT and telecommunications industry and seven years in electronics manufacturing/engineering industry. He has held several leadership and management positions and is continuously looking for new ways technology can advance the Speedcast customer experience.

George Efthimiou is working as an IT administrator and security expert in the shipping industry since 2010. He has delivered various projects including vessels server deployment and installation, ERP deployment at office headquarters and Fleet and security auditing and upgrade, also managed efficient communications with vessels, such as database and file synchronization between vessels and office headquarters. He graduated from the Piraeus University of Applied sciences as a Computer Systems engineer and since then, he tries constantly, to develop his skills in seaworthy solutions, in cyber security and network infrastructures. His target is to make seamen and colleagues to work safe, easier and together.

Charalampos (Harry) Ligoutsikos currently holds the position of Company Security Officer / Lead Internal Auditor at Prime Tanker/Prime Gas. When he joined the company in 2012 he was responsible for the development / integration of the Company ERP System - ISM & Risk Assessment Modules. In 2017 he was a Project Leader for the Development of the Initial Cyber Security Compliance Framework for Prime in collaboration with DNV-GL. Since 2018 he is responsible for the company's Cyber Compliance.

In 2002-2012 Charalampos worked for Wind Hellas. He was responsible for the Design, Procurement, Implementation and Deployment of a series of Telecommunication & Datacom Solutions including IP Backbone Networks, Telecom & Datacom Monitoring System and in general Data Centre development starting of as an Engineer and ranging up to Technical Project Leader and Team Manager.

Charalampos has a degree in MEng in Electrical & Electronics Engineering, MSc in Biomedical Engineering, and Diploma in Ship Superintendency.

Themistoklis Sardis is the Head of ICT and ISO at Costamare Shipping. He has over twenty years of experience in the shipping sector and a proven track record of leading successful ICT projects.

Themistoklis has studied Electrical Engineering at NTUA, and holds an MSc in Data Communications from UCL, London and an MBA from AUEB. He is PMP and ITIL v4 certified and he is the Vice-President of AMMITEC.

Achilleas Choursoglou is ICT Advisor and co-founder and member of the BOD of AMMITEC (Association of Maritime Managers in Information Technology and Communications) from 2003. He has in total more than 42 years of experience in IT and Communication, 21 of them in Shipping, with deep knowledge of Shipping ERP programs, Satellite Communications, Project Management, Internet communications etc.

He was ICT Advisor and previously ICT Manager at Olympic Shipping and Management SA (Onassis group) from 1995 to 2016. He was also I.T Manager at Pirelli Hellas (1992-1995) and Deputy I.T. Manager and System Analyst at Chemical Products and Fertilizers Company (Lipasmata) of Bodossakis group (1977-1992).

Achilleas holds a BSc in Mathematics, a BSc in Economics and has a diploma on Information Technology. He is collector of classic cars and member of several Classic cars Clubs.

Dimitris Lyras is a member of a family with more than 150 years of experience in shipping, He is director of Lyras Shipping, and director and founder of Ulysses Systems, a software company specializing in the delivery of actionable information, and Ulysses Learning, a simulation-based e-Learning company.

Mr Stavros Koutoupes is a seasoned IT and telecommunications engineer with more than 25 years of international and multidisciplinary executive experience in the management, development, deployment and operation of large scale and complex multi-million ICT projects in the telecommunications, IT, lottery and industrial sectors in Greece and the north of Europe. He has worked for various telecommunication organizations in Greece and in Europe. Presently, he is the Sales Manager of World Link Communications promoting the implementation of telecommunication and cyber security services in the Greek maritime market.

Thanos Servos is IT Manager of Seaven Tanker Management and Mylaki Shipping Agency where he is responsible of the Information Technology systems both on vessels and offices. He has experience in managing and implementing a variety of full stack IT projects in different areas of computer industry. Despite the purely IT systems like ERPs,CRMs, VSAT, Servers etc in the field of his interest are Cargo Monitoring Automations, ECDIS, Radars, AIS systems and the security around them. Thanos holds Master's degree in Computer and Information Systems Security/Information Assurance from University of Piraeus and BSc in Digital telecommunication Systems of University of Piraeus.

Zeppos Galanos is the Information Security Officer at KONKAT ATE, leading the IT security department - part of the Corporate IT Division of KONKAT and affiliated companies - a small but rather highly diversified set of companies covering mainly but not solely, maritime, off-shore ONG and aviation industries. Konkat ATE being part of VARDINOYIANNIS Group of Companies serves as internal IT department for Avin Int. Responsible for IT Security infrastructure, data privacy, user awareness and training, as well as GRC initiatives, such as GDPR and ISO 27001 compliance projects. Having served for many years as New Technologies Manager, he has also been involved in large information technology projects throughout the group, requiring enterprise-wide collaborative and knowledge management specific skills in the execution of my duties. Erik Vigen possesses a position as Senior Developer at Fugro Norway AS within the field of GNSS. Through his 12 years with Fugro he has contributed to the development of the High Accuracy GNSS augmentations system G4, and more recently, to GNSS Authentication. Prior to that he worked with development of marine seismic positioning systems, mainly GNSS and acoustics, for WesternGeco during more than 20 years. He has a master degree in civil engineering with specialization in geodesy from the Norwegian Institute of Technology in 1981.

Hanne Krohn Jünge is a sales manager at Fugro Norway As, she works closely with the Oceanstar system which is an enhancement tool for navigation.   Previously worked for one of the larger oil tanker companies as the Head of Operation.  Educated as a Master Mariner from the Høgskolen in Ålesund, Norway.  Sailed as an officer onboard crude oil tankers. Diploma in International Shipping and Logistics and MSc International Shipping and Logistics from the University of Plymouth, UK.

Thrasyvoulos Tampakakis joined OTESAT-Maritel in 2016 and as part of his role, he focuses on innovative Solutions Engineering in the Maritime sector. In the past he has served several positions in the Telecom industry including Product Management, Corporate Networking Services Provisioning and Operational Team Coordination. Thrasyvoulos holds a M.Sc. (Hons) in Communication Systems and Networks from the University of Athens and an MBA (Hons) with major in Management of Telecommunication and New Technology Companies and Organizations, from Athens University of Economics and Business.

Dr Konstantinos Papapanagiotou is Senior Manager for Cyber Security Solutions that OTE Group of Companies offers to its corporate customers. He has worked as head of teams of security consultants in OTE and other consulting companies, helping large organizations improve their security posture. He has more than 18 years of experience in the field of cyber security both as a corporate consultant and as a researcher.

He is leading the OWASP Greek Chapter and an Adjunct Lecturer at the Hellenic-American University in the field of Cyber Security. He holds a PhD and BSc in Cyber Security from the University of Athens and an MSc in Information Security from Royal Holloway.

Fotis Tsitsirigkos is Fleet IT Manager at Euronav. He manages a globally distributed IT team of skilled Fleet IT engineers, supporting 50 vessels in their IT network, IT infrastructure and IT communications (VSAT, Fleet broadband, Iridium Open Port). He also leads all fleet IT operations, installations and optimization projects to ensure a stable, secured and high performing network on board of vessels. Prior to Euronav he held a position of IT Manager at EPA ATTIKI for 8 years IT Manager at Lannet Communications for 5 years, in addition to earlier career as software developer and reseacher. Fotis also co-founded and ran Kids Coding Labs from 2014 to 2018. His areas of interest are Integration Projects, System Landscape Re-organization, System consolidation, CRM, ERP, Telemetry, Scada, and mobile application development.

Theodoros Kalyvas, having an experience of 22 years in the IT sector, is the Information Security Officer for the Olympic Shipping and Management S.A (Onassis Group), a management company of 23 crude oil tankers and 10 dry bulk carriers. His primary task is to meet the company’s information security goals, uphold its information security policies, and execute the information security program both ashore and on the fleet’s vessels. Prior to Olympic, Theodoros was a IT Security project manager in the Airlines’ industry, being responsible for technical leadership for design activities relating to security projects, practices, and methodologies. He holds a B.Sc. in Information Technology from the University of Piraeus and a MS in Project Management from the City University of Seattle, WA, USA. Theodoros, among other certifications, is a Project Manager Professional (PMP), a Certified Information System Security Professional (CISSP) and a Certified Information Security Manager (CISM).

Daniel Nima is an ICS Cyber Security Manager at Darktrace Industrial, a business unit dedicated to cyber security for OT, IT and IoT environments. Daniel advises companies from a variety of industries on the use of artificial intelligence for cyber defense, including manufacturing, energy and maritime. He has a technical background, holding a masters in mechanical engineering.
